Utility Team Member
Angelo’s Italian Delicatessen is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Utility Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and team. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to our daily operations and reflects our commitment to excellence, compliance, and community pride.
Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning of floors, restrooms, prep areas, and guest spaces
• Sanitize surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas according to HACCP protocols
• Assist with trash removal, dishwashing, and supply restocking
• Support general store operations including deliveries, storage, and light maintenance
• Monitor safety hazards and report issues promptly
• Uphold health department standards and inspection readiness
Qualifications
• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or food service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive work environment
