Description
From Groundbreaking to Grand Reopening: The Oklahoma State Capitol's Inspiring Legacy.
The Historically Local: Oklahoma State Capitol with Oklahoma History Society's Executive Director Trait Thompson will discuss the history of our capitol. Thompson oversaw the Oklahoma Capitol Restoration Project, shepherding the preservation and restoration of one of Oklahoma’s most important historical artifacts—the State Capitol. He is author of The Oklahoma State Capitol (2022).
The public is invited to Thursday, November 14, 7-8:30PM at Castle Falls Venue. There is no charge but registration is required here: https://HisLocalCapitol2024.eventbrite.com.
There will be a cash bar and light appetizers will be served.
