Council Grove/Castle Falls Historically Local Tour
The Westen District and Castle Falls Wedding Venue & Restaurant host a historically local tour of Castle Falls that includes a history of the many salvaged items from downtown Oklahoma City in the early 1900s, the Czechoslovakian family who built the castle, and an overview of the Council Grove area (part of the Unassigned Land during the Land Run).
The tour is on the third Saturday of each month. There is no charge but registration is required here: https://westendistrictokc.com/events/
Just west of the city, the original castle is now Castle Falls Restaurant & Venue.
The Historically Local tours are not readily accessible for persons with disabilities or those who have physical challenges walking because of the outside topography and the historic structure of the building.
